she’s a bad mamba jamba
With the addition of Fritz to our ever-expanding family, I realized how infrequently I blog about those I love. Not just fur-babies, but my family in general. My new years resolution…aside from vowing to get up early and meditate before dawn…
…yep — I actually listed that as a resolution one year…it lasted about…ohhhh…one day…and even then I went back to sleep afterwards…meditating is VERY exhausting!
My new years resolution…write about my family more often. It’s where, after all, the basis of my business began. Without them I wouldn’t have learned that the foundation of relationships and growing and changing and the journey of this amazing life is, and always will be, love.
With all that being said…meet Sasha.
She just looks bad, doesn’t she? Well…it’s because she is. She thinks she’s a vampire and she’s a glutton for food (I worked hard to ensure you couldn’t see her fat pouch in this shot). Popcorn is her favorite — you should see the way she mounts a countertop to get to the microwave when she smells the ooey gooey buttery fats of the stuff. Despite her badness, she is beautiful — and I kinda think she knows it. This picture? She posed for it. Peaches on the other hand (who you’ll meet in a later post) requires a lot of verbal violence and chasing from the dog to get a decent shot – and even then she won’t look at the camera.
Sasha took to sleeping on my head last night. When I attempted to shift her so I, you know, could avoid dying, she tried to remove my pinky from my hand.
Definitely a vampire.
Have a great Tuesday, all!
love (my grey badcat),
